Counselling is collaborative dynamic between the therapist and client. The counselling process aims to facilitate change and improve the quality of life of an individual.
The assessments I offer include, but are not limited to: career, school readiness, cognitive, ADD/ADH, dyslexia, concession screening, aptitude and learning disorders.
Early detection and evaluation to determine specific needs and appropriate treatment can improve success of remedial counselling.
Learners are assessed to determine their specific learning style, and there after they are taught the metacognitive techniques and tools that will cater to their specific learning style.
